I was a bit late joining the #YARC2019 but I’m still very excited to read more books by Asian authors this year! You can find more info about this challenge here.
Essentially, this challenge is all about reading books by Asian authors and there are several levels you can target depending on how many books you want to read for this challenge. My Goodreads reading goal for this year is 60, so for the YARC, I’m targetting the Indian Cobra level i.e. 11-20 books.

So, the next step was to go through my shelves and pick out books that fit this challenge. Luckily, I have enough unread books on my shelves to reach the target along with some new releases that I’m really looking forward to this year, provided I read them all. 🙈

I’m a mood reader so there’s no guarantee I’ll read all the books on a TBR I set but I try to get through most of them. Hence, I’m just sharing here all the books by Asian authors I already own and haven’t read but I won’t be pressuring myself to read them all though I will try to.

Oops! Forgot to include P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han (Book 2 in the Lara Jean trilogy) which I’ll probably (hopefully) be picking up soon. I’ve also ordered Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan and it should reach me in a couple days (so excited to read it and watch the movie!!).
And here are some books by Asian authors that I hope to buy if/when they release here:
Even though I haven’t exactly set a TBR, I’m sharing these books here in the hope that you might get some ideas for books to include in your TBRs if you like. And if you have any recommendations for me, please do share them in the comments below!
