WWW Wednesday – 20th Feb 2019 or How did this happen?

Time for another weekly reading update! I got quite a bit of reading done before the weekend but not so much the last few days. 🙈

I have no idea how I ended up reading three BIG books all at the same time, like, really, how did this even happen? I like reading multiple books at a time especially if I’ve picked up a big one as I like to complement it with shorter reads because otherwise, it doesn’t feel like I’m reading much.

Like right now. All of these are big, dense, and intense reads. And I’m not close to finishing any of these. 😐

• Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo: Page 130 of 491
  Third time’s the charm – I made it through the first 2 chapters and so glad I finally picked up Six of Crows so I can read this duology and then get to King of Scars as soon as possible.
• Elantris by Brandon Sanderson: Page 206 of 590
  There are so many characters and odd names and I want to keep reading it all day but it’s not happening.
• Voyager (Outlander #3) by Diana Gabaldon: Page 395 of 870
  I haven’t listened to any more of Voyager this week. I keep wanting to but I’m just not feeling it right now.

I put off reading the The Sun Is Also A Star since its release and I can’t remember why. Then I watched the trailer last week, couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I finally picked up the book and finished it in 2 days, Thursday night in fact, because I could not stop reading it! It was so adorable and made me feel a lot.

But I haven’t read much since. Why is this happening?! How did I come to be in the middle of three long, complex fantasy novels at the same time and still no closer to finishing even one of them?! 🤷‍♀️

I really want to get to at least 2 of the following this month:

• Girls of Paper and Fire
