Top 10 Tuesday: Books On My Spring 2019 TBR | What I’m Excited To Read In The Next 3 Months

Hello, hope you had a nice weekend. Today’s prompt for Top 10 Tuesday is Books On My Spring 2019 TBR. I don’t really set quarterly/seasonal TBRs, just the monthly ones at the start of each new month (which I don’t always stick to) but I managed to pull some books from my unread pile that I hope to read in the coming months.

Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.
  1. The Queen Of Attolia (The Queen’s Thief #2) : Really want to continue with this series and see what will happen next.

  2. Crazy Rich Asians: So excited to read this one and then watch the movie!

  3. The Priory Of The Orange Tree: This one is a gigantic 800+ pages long and a brick of a book but I’ve only heard amazing things about it and I’m just dying to pick it up, but just not yet, while I have I’m reading some other big books already.

  4. Fangirl: This one’s been on my shelves since probably 2016 and I know, I know, I should have read it way back. Now that Carry On is getting a sequel, I want to read both Fangirl and Carry On soon.

  5. Leah On The Offbeat: I’ve been putting off reading this one because of the mixed reviews even though Simon Vs. is one of my favorite books (and movies). It’s time I give it a go.

  6. Stargazing For Beginners: This seems like a short, quick contemporary and I’ve been in the mood for those lately so I’ll probably be picking up this one soon.

  7. A Curse So Dark And Lonely: Another one I’ve just heard absolutely wonderful things about and I can’t wait to read it!

  8. Autoboyography: Hoping this will be an adorable and fun read.

  9. The Seven Hubands of Evelyn Hugo: Yet another one I’ve heard incredible things about and have been putting off for months. I’m so ready to read it soon!

  10. Rebel Spring (Falling Kingdoms #2): Read the first book a few months back and enjoyed it. About time I continue with this series, I have a good feeling about this one.

So these are some of the books I hope to get to in the next few months. What books are you most looking forward to reading in the coming months? Have you read any of the ones on my list? Talk to me in the comments below!

  1. Great list! I loved The Seven Hubands of Evelyn Hugo and I hope you do too. I’m currently in the middle of The Priory of the Orange Tree, and it’s been living up to its hype for me so far.

  2. I’m jealous of all of you reading the seven husbands…. I have been on a waiting list at the library for what feels like a year!!!! I also keep hearing about Priory but the length scares me off. I am going back and forth on curse so dark and lovely… I will be very interested to see what you have to say about it.

    • Thanks, Susan, I’ll get to it soon! Priory scares me too but I’ve heard so many amazing things about it, I just want to gobble it up. πŸ˜„ Evelyn Hugo wasn’t that easy to get hold of here either – the imported copies are really expensive but I had to splurge because I’ve heard wonderful things about it. πŸ˜‹

  4. Great list! The Priory of the Orange Tree made my TBR this week, too, and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is another one I’d really like to get to this year. I hope you enjoy all of these!

  5. I loved the extract from Priory so much that I preordered it, but now it has to wait until probably next month as I have so many netgalley things to get through :/ but! I too have it and Crazy Rich Asians on my tbr! I’m holding off on A Curse so Dark and Lonely until my friend reads it first as I’m really relying on her opinion on this one, great list!! Love the photo too πŸ™‚

  6. I am looking forward to reading Priory, Autoboyography and A curse so dark and lonely in the coming months.

I am also really pumped about Christina Lauren’s new book Unhoneymooners. Have you heard about it?

Evelyn Hugo is a must read and I am happy that you are planning on reading it soon. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

  7. I liked Leah, although not as much as Simon or The Upside of Unrequited. I liked Fangirl a lot and will be re-reading both of them before September in preparation for the new book. And I listened to Crazy Rich Asians and am liked both it and the movie. I hope you enjoy both of them, too!

  8. Priory of the Orange Tree is on my Spring TBR as well. I pre-ordered it, but since Four Dead Queens came out the same day… the shorter book got read first. I liked Fangirl; hope you like it too!

I usually make monthly reading plans too. I know I read about two books a week, so I always try to read one ARC and one other book each week.
